3. Hosting and Server Log Files

When you access our website, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information in so-called server log files. This may include, in particular:

5. Rug Enquiries

Our website allows you to submit non-binding enquiries about individual rugs. In addition to your contact details, information about the rugs you have selected may also be transmitted, such as the rug number, model, origin, dimensions or other product information.

This data is used solely to process your enquiry, check availability and, at your request, provide you with further information or an individual offer.

Submitting an enquiry does not constitute an order and does not automatically result in the conclusion of a purchase contract.

6. Trade and B2B Enquiries

We provide separate B2B enquiry options for dealers and commercial customers. In this context, the following additional information may be processed:

  • company name
  • contact person
  • business address
  • phone number
  • email address
  • VAT identification number, where applicable
  • selected rugs
  • message or other information relating to the enquiry

Processing is carried out in order to handle your trade enquiry and prepare for a possible business transaction on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. Storage of B2B Enquiries in WordPress

B2B enquiries may be temporarily stored in the database of our WordPress website for processing purposes.

B2B enquiries stored in WordPress are automatically deleted once the retention period configured in our system has expired. The currently intended retention period is generally six months, unless longer storage is required to process an ongoing enquiry or to comply with statutory retention obligations.

Automatic deletion from the WordPress database does not automatically delete email messages that were additionally sent or received in connection with the enquiry.

8. Email Communication

If you contact us by email, the information you provide and the content of the communication will be processed and stored in our email system.

The data will be stored only for as long as necessary to process your enquiry, manage a potential contractual relationship, or comply with statutory retention obligations.

9. No Use for Marketing Purposes Without an Appropriate Legal Basis

Data submitted via contact or enquiry forms is generally used by us to process the respective enquiry.

We do not disclose your data to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes, nor do we sell address data or rent out contact information.

10. Local Storage of Rug Selections

For certain functions of our website, your browser may temporarily store information about selected rugs locally. The browser's local storage functionality may be used for this purpose.

This information is stored on your own device and may, for example, be used to retain a selection of several rugs while you are using our website.

You can delete locally stored data through your browser settings.
